‘Pigs available three ways’ at EAT this Christmas

Food-to-go retailer EAT unveiled its festive menu yesterday (7 November,) including pigs in blankets served three ways - on their own, in a hot pot or with mash and gravy, as well as other meat and veggie options.

Also featuring on the new Christmas menu :

  • Mac 'n' Cheese with spicy jalapeños and crispy onions (from £5.50, vegetarian)
  • Festive Full Works Bloomer (£3.95) - turkey, smoked ham, hand-crumbed pork with a prune & pancetta stuffing, spinach, cranberry sauce and mayonnaise
  • Goats Cheese, Pear & Date Bloomer (£3.95, vegetarian)
- goats cheese and mulled wine pears with a pear & date chutney, spinach and peppered mayonnaise
  • Turkey Hot Pot (from £5.50)
- stew made with turkey, leeks, carrots and parsnips in a creamy wholegrain mustard sauce served with mashed potato and red cabbage
  • Merry Mincemeat Crumble Bar (£1.65) - all butter shortbread topped with traditional mincemeat and an all butter crumble
  • Jaffa Cake (gluten-free, £1.55) - polenta cake topped with a jaffa orange curd and dark chocolate.

EAT will also be selling its ‘merry mince pie’ for £1 when purchased with any hot drink.
