ALMR signs up restaurant chains to membership

Restaurant companies such as PizzaExpress, Leon and wagamama have joined the Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers’ (ALMR) membership.

According to the ALMR, the latest membership additions mean the trade body now represents over 90% of all casual dining brands, managed pubs, nightclubs and bars.

ALMR chief executive, Kate Nicholls, said: “It’s clear that the industry recognises the value and crucial importance of campaigning and speaking to government with one voice. We will continue to champion our sector to key stakeholders across government as a crucial growth champion with turnover of £60bn, employing over 1.5 million people.”

Other new members include: Bone Daddies, Busaba Eathai, itsu, Mighty Local Pubs, New World Trading Company, Real Eating Company, Urban Pubs & Bars and Windmill Taverns.
