The British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA) has expressed its support for Beer Day Britain today (June 15th).

Beer Day Britain, now in its third year, celebrates the different styles of beer, many of which were first produced in Britain.

The BBPA has welcomed the ‘There’s A Beer For That’ (TABFT) campaign toolkit produced by beer sommelier and writer Jane Peyton.

Brigid Simmonds, BBPA chief executive, said: “Beer Day Britain is now in its third year, and the two previous occasions have been wonderful celebration of our great national drink involving hundreds of thousands of people across the country in the great British pub.

“I look forward to once again showing my pride in our beer and pubs by saying ‘Cheers to Beer!’ on Thursday.”

For Beer Day Britain TABFT has given point-of-sale kits to encourage engagement in pubs, with over 1,500 signed up on ‘crowdspeaking’ platform Thunderclap.
