Australian food concept Ben’s Canteen has launched a £250,000 crowdfunding campaign to help open a third branch and fund its growth.

The restaurant is taking up residency in the phase one site at Battersea Power Station, Circus West, and believes opening here will stimulate further growth. Ben’s Canteen is aiming to open ten restaurants in the next five years.

Owner Ben Walton, said: “I believe that as well as a fantastic business proposition, we are also giving investors a set of exciting rewards and chance to be part of our journey.

“What drew me to this particular site is the sense of history, and the chance to be situated amongst the old and the new was too good to miss.

“We focus on burgers, wine and brunch, three of the largest trends in London and beyond. We are well positioned to grow as these markets continue to their upward trajectory, and I’m confident that the three sites will become ten as we continue to grow.”

Ben’s Canteen has existing sites in Clapham Junction and Earlsfield. It has also teamed up with street food operators Grill My Cheese and is running specials alongside its normal menu until April 17th.
