Boom Shack, the new venture from Boom Burger founder Joshua de Lisser, is opening its doors in Brixton on Saturday, offering South Londoners a Jamaican dine-in and take-away experience.

Located on Brixton Station Road, Boom Shack is a Caribbean inspired cocktail bar with a breakfast and evening food menu.

Founder Joshua de Lisser, said: “We’ve come along way since starting as a pop-up in 2013.  I’ve always had my eyes set on a site in Brixton and now that it’s finally happened I can’t wait to spread the boom!”

The evening menu includes hot ciabatta sandwiches, including Boom Cubano – a ham, slow-cooked pork shoulder with Swiss cheese and topped with hot peppers.

The breakfast menu includes a selection of sandwiches all served in a warm brioche bun, including bacon, egg and cheese sarnie, plus avocado and scrambled eggs as a veggie option.
