Chipotle launches protein bowl in collaboration with Men’s Health magazine

Mexican chain Chipotle has partnered with UK magazine Men’s Health to launch a limited-edition protein bowl until 28 February.

Available in its six London-based restaurants, the double-meat chicken bowl provides 82g of protein and comes with lettuce, coriander-lime brown rice, pinto beans, tomato salsa and Monterey Jack cheese for £9.25.

European marketing manager James Dannatt said: ‘We are delighted to partner with Men’s Health for this special menu item. We already have a great fitness fan-base and our double-meat chicken bowl is a great way to increase customers’s protein intake naturally, at the same time as eating something filling and delicious.’

The collaboration follows the launch of Chipotle’s online tool, ‘Eat to Your Own Beat,’ which recommends the best and worst ingredient combinations for to customers’s personal dietary needs, including: gluten free, high protein, vegetarian, vegan, paleo and dairy free.
