Independent neighbourhood bar group Darwin & Wallace will open its fifth site on July 28 in the Circus West Village, Battersea’s new dining and shopping complex.

Located next to Battersea Power Station, No 29 Power Station will join a selection of independent traders situated next to the station on the bank of the River Thames.

The pub joins Darwin & Wallace’s growing collection of village bars, which includes No 11 Pimlico Road, No 197 Chiswick Fire Station and No 32 The Old Town.

The location will offer all day drinking and dining, while its interior will reference the industrial heritage of the nearby power station.

Mel Marriott, Darwin & Wallace managing director, said: "We feel privileged and very excited to open our fifth pub in one of London's most iconic locations.

“With references to its industrial past and its iconic location and views over the river and the arches, No 29 Power Station West will be the perfect backdrop for eating and drinking."

Marriott established Darwin & Wallace in 2012, the same year it launched its first location on Pimlico Road.
