Cocktail bar chain Dirty Martini, part of the CG Restaurant and Bars portfolio, has reported that its like-for-like sales were up 3.9% for the first six months of 2017.

The group’s June figures showed an increase of 6.3% in lfl sales, with the results coming following the company’s announcement of £3.25 million worth of regional investment.

Dirty Martini announced earlier this month that it would be adding to its growing estate with sites in Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds.

Christmas 2017 bookings at the company were up 157% from the same time last year, something which chief executive Scott Matthews accredits to the brand securing a number of high-value exclusive hires across the venues.

“We are encouraged to see such a strong sales uplift for H1 across all sites. The performance across the existing portfolio is a clear signal of the strength of our brand and the commitment of our team,” said Matthews.

The bar group currently operates eight sites across the UK, seven in London and one in Cardiff, which was opened in October last year.
