Drake & Morgan announces several internal senior appointments
There are eight further sites expected to open by late 2015 the first of which is the happenstance in St. Paul’s, due to open mid-June.
Drake & Morgan said it is proud to recognise its team’s commitment with several internal promotions.
Taskin Muzaffer has been promoted to business development director from his previous position as operations manager. In his new role, Muzaffer will be responsible for the strategic growth of the business and will oversee the launches of all new venues.
Taking over from Muzaffer as operations manager is Paul Loebenberg, who has extensive experience in the hospitality industry and comes to the role after a successful period as general manager of The Folly. After previously serving as Loebenberg’s deputy, Foni Tsouvallas has been promoted to general manager. Tsouvallas has nearly 20 years experience in the restaurant industry, taking her all over the globe from Australia to Canada and finally, to the UK.
Lisa Yearwood has been promoted from general manager at the drift to head of marketing for the whole group. Wayne Feddon has taken over her role as general manager of the drift, moving up from his previous position as assistant general manager.
Sam O’Neil has moved from his role as general manager of the refinery to launch the happenstance, where he will also act as general manager. In turn, Megan Jones has been promoted from assistant general manager to general manger at the refinery, filling the vacancy left by O’Neil’s move.
Andrew Lawson, head of people, said: “The internal promotions highlight the importance Drake & Morgan places on implementing training programmes which allow employees to grow and progress within the company. With a rapidly expanding portfolio of venues and such a committed team in place, Drake & Morgan continues to go from strength to strength.”
