Bar and restaurant group Drake & Morgan has launched a limited-edition main course dish this November, to help raise money for the cancer charity Maggie’s.

To coincide with World Kindness Day (13 November,) the company has deemed November “Random Acts of Kindness month” – donating £1 from each dish of smoked almond-crusted sea bream, Andalusian tomato, fennel and lemon (£13.95) to the charity, which provides free emotional and practical support to people living with cancer and their families and friends.

Running across its 23 venues in London, Manchester and Edinburgh, customers can also donate by texting MAGG13 followed by the amount they wish, to 70070.

Head of charity partnerships at Drake & Morgan, Louise Richardson, said: “It is an honour to be supporting the incredible work that Maggie’s does to support people affected by cancer.

“Maggie’s warm and interactive approach to fundraising, with events such as Maggie’s Culture Crawls echoes the philosophy of our bars and restaurants, and by working with Maggie’s across our shared homes of London, Manchester and Edinburgh, we hope to raise significant funds this November to bring vital support to those who need it most.”

The event forms part of Drake & Morgan’s two-year charity partnership with Maggie’s, which it announced in June this year.
