Elliot Hill prepares one night take-over of The Frog E1

05/10/2017 - 12:25
Elliot Hill, executive chef at The Park Tavern SW18, is taking over Adam Handling’s Shoreditch-based restaurant, The Frog E1, for one night only on 23 October.

Serving guests a five-course meal including dishes such as: buttermilk fried chicken liver; beetroot, bacon and horseradish; and yukon gold potato with cheshire cheese and shimeji mushroom, the event is designed to showcase Hill’s culinary ethos of “seasonal, artful, experimental (food) bursting with colour and flavor.”

He said: “In terms of inspirations, I believe that we are a sum of our experiences and food, like a lot of things such as art and music, is a reflection of that time.

“Every chef, every person, every compliment, every criticism and complaint is what builds you and pushes you. Inspiration never stops. We chefs are constantly researching, experimenting, reading, eating – it’s an addiction!”

The five-course meal costs £40 per person, with drinks available to purchase throughout the evening. Please visit https://www.designmynight.com/london/restaurants/brick-lane/the-frog/elliot-hill-residency-at-the-frog-e1?t=tickets for tickets.
