New research from Nestle Professional has revealed that 56% of casual diners are more likely to go to a restaurant offering healthy menu options.

The BuzzBites Good Food, Good Life report also found that 69% of customers would like to see more ‘fresh’ and ‘healthy’ choices. The research also found that 50% of diners find healthier menu options just as tasty as others.

Paul Lumley, brand & communications manager for Nestlé Professional, said: “The Casual Dining industry is changing, and fast. Consumer trends are fast paced and businesses need to be able to flex and adapt to keep up.”

The report revealed that 44% of diners would like to have the option of a small portion size and 37% would like to see clearer calorie labelling on menus.

Good Food, Good Life is the first in a new series of quarterly BuzzBites reports from Nestlé Professional. To read the full report, click here.
