Boki, a new bar ‘blending the coffee industry with a passion for food and design’ is set to open its first store this month in Seven Dials, London.

The all-day venue will deliver an ‘international inspired’ menu for breakfast, lunch and evenings, plus a drinks menu consisting of coffee, tea, wines, craft beer and cocktails.

The Boki name comes from a mix of the names of the company’s co-founders, Boris Becker (not the former Wimbledon champion) and Kim Mahony Hargreaves, whose respective backgrounds of Asia and Britain are said to have influenced the menu.

Hargreaves said: “Our first independent Boki venture aims to further evolve our previous coffee industry experience to provide our distinctive stamp to quality, creativity and innovation - from the suppliers sourced, dishes produced, drinks brewed, blended and paired to the atmosphere created and service delivered.

“We want to showcase delicious flavours - great tasting, high quality, and authentic produce – morning to night.”

Dishes on the menu include Boki protein bowls with avocado, kale, tomato and poached eggs, and the McBoki muffin, which consists of bacon, avocado, egg and sriracha mayo

The 1,200 sq. ft site, which is owned by real estate investment trust, Shaftesbury, has an espresso bar at the entrance for takeaways of coffee, juices and bakery products.
