Subway has opened its latest UK sandwich shop on the forecourt at Eastville Park in Bristol in partnership with filling station operator Euro Garages.

The new opening is the 161st collaboration between the two and the first Subway branch outside of its traditional high street location, to carry the new 'Fresh Forward' branding.

Blackburn-based Euro Garages has  plans to open a further 40 Subway stores by the end of 2018 with two set to open by the end of this year.

The forecourt operator is also planning on rolling out additional Subway stores across Belgium, France and the Netherlands, where it recently launched two sites.

Sue Pasco, regional development agent for Subway, said: “We are very excited to be opening another store with Euro Garages. We opened our first store featuring the new-look design back in August and the reaction from customers has been really positive.”

Ahmed Kazi, group head of operations at Euro Garages, added: “We’re excited to open the first non-traditional Subway store to feature the new-look design.

"Partnering with the Subway brand enhances our offering for our customers and we look forward to continuing our relationship with the brand, with the opening of new sites in 2018.”
