Pub industry trade show PUB17 is celebrating a third successive year of growth as it announces a visitor increase of 8% on 2016.

The two day show was hosted at Olympia on February 7th and 8th and welcomed over 3,700 visitors and more than 200 exhibitors.

Dan McGrath, head of marketing, UCC Coffee UK & Ireland, said: “There was a real thirst at PUB17 to learn about coffee. Lots of operators are doing coffee well but there’s still room for improvement, which is particularly key as almost half (44%) of consumers would be put off returning to a pub that serves poor quality coffee.

“Visitors engaged well with our Taste Table of common misconceptions of coffee and our new report which we launched at the show – The Coffee Opportunity: Pubs & Bars.”

PUB18 will return to London on February 6th and 7th 2018.
