Rosa’s Thai Café Seven Dials launches exclusive Northern Thai menu

Rosa’s Thai Café’s recently opened Seven Dials location will be launching an exclusive Northern Thai menu this month, to shine light on the country’s lesser-known regional dishes.

In celebration of head chef and co-owner, Saiphin Moore’s hometown, the restaurant will draw inspiration from the northern province of Petchabun, and will feature local dishes such as ‘Nam Prik Ong’ – a chilli dip with minced pork and cracklings or rice crackers and ‘Khao Soi’ – a street food dish of egg noodles in a creamy yellow chicken curry. These will be served alongside the à la carte menu and for those looking for a more authentic experience, a sharing selection is also available for the whole table.

Launching 21 August, the northern menu follows the success of its Dean Street restaurant’s southern menu, with the company planning on introducing regional menus across all 10 of its London sites.

The chain has also launched a new online recipe hub, http://www.rosasthaicafe.com/recipe-category/regional-recipes, which includes two of the recipes from the Northern Thai menu.
