Tabasco to host Bloody Mary ‘pick-me-up’ café next week

07/12/2017 - 07:00
With an estimated 13.7 million Brits attending Christmas parties in the third week of December, Tabasco is hosting a two-day Bloody Mary Café at Boxpark Shoreditch on 14-15 December, “to help perk up commuters the morning after.”

Upon entering the ‘Tabasco pick-me-up pit stop,’ each guest will receive a token entitling them to one free food and one free drink item - all created in collaboration with a number of UK chefs and bartenders, including Pizza Pilgrims, The Cocktail Guy and The Marshmallowist.

Drawing inspiration from both the Bloody Mary cocktail and nation’s top 10 hangover foods, the ‘pick-me-up’ menu features items such as miniature grab-and-go ‘Micro Mary’ cocktails from bartender Rich Woods (AKA The Cocktail Guy); a Bloody Mary mince pie by baker and food artist Juliet Sear; Bloody Margherita pizza from Pizza Pilgrims; scotch egg with Bloody Mary dipping sauce by gastropub, the Drapers Arms, and spiced vodka and tomato Bloody Mary marshmallows by The Marshmallowist.

Open from 8am-10am on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 December, all food and drink served will be free, but can also be purchased from participating venues (viewed here: https://www.facebook.com/notes/tabasco/tabasco-pick-me-up-menu/1740013966060983/) throughout December.
