As part of its expansion plan, Unique Hospitality Management has taken on its seventh pub - with sights set on another 15 by 2019 and a newly appointed second operations manager.

Owned by Star Pubs & Bars, Unique Hospitality Management has invested £350,000 in the Oxford-based pub, The Fox Inn, which is currently undergoing refurbishment ahead of reopening 21 September.

Offering new, seasonally changing British menus, local beers, wines, spirits and cocktails, the pub also features a large decked area, which Unique plans on developing further.

Managing director Andrew Coath said: “The Fox Inn makes it a magnificent seven pubs for the company. The Fox Inn is a really exciting acquisition for us and is a lovely traditional pub located in a great position close to affluent Oxford. We believe our fantastic Epic Pubs’s food and drink offer will work extremely well in this location.”

This is Unique’s first Star Pubs & Bars site, and the fourth pub that it has opened in the last year - with plans to have a total 15 sites by 2019.

The news follows the recent appointment of Sam King as second operations manager, to help support the company’s expansion. He joins from Cirrus Inns and will be responsible for both The Fox Inn and The Golden Ball pub, Berkshire, which opened in 2015 and is the company’s first pub.
