Zizzi looks to grow takeway sales with new packaging

Azzurri Group-owned Zizzi has unveiled a suite of new packaging for its takeaway service as it looks to grow its out-of-restaurant sales.

The new packaging includes a box for classic and skinny pizzas as well as a deep box for its Rustica Piccante.

The suite also contains a small box for starters, sharers and desserts, a bread bag, nibbles pot, a pasta/salad bowl that tries to replicate the restaurant’s own crockery, and an insert which seperates hot and cold food.

Zizzi’s managing director, Joe Fawcett, said the suite would enable “restaurant-quality dining without compromising on taste or appearance."

She said: “We recognised the need to invest in all elements of our out-of-restaurant proposition to ensure we are providing the best possible dining experience for our customers. We are now well placed to grow our share of the growing out-of-restaurant channel.”
